Domitila Barros embarked on her journey toward global impact by receiving the Millennium Dreamer Award from UNESCO, in partnership with Walt Disney and McDonald's, in the United States. Her unwavering commitment to education and advocacy for social and environmental justice continues to inspire individuals to participate in transformative movements. Domitila has become a prominent advocate for positive global change.

Scholarship for Master's degree at the Freie Universität Berlin

According to the respective admission requirements, Domitila proved herself qualified to pursue a Master's degree in Germany. This led to her holding positions of responsibility in professional areas both within and outside the university.

The possible fields of activity at higher education level that she has pursued include, for example, academic institutions, international cooperation institutions, foreign service institutions, international cooperation and organizations, non-governmental organizations, development policy and civil society institutions, adult education, press and media, public relations, cultural institutions, cultural exchange, intercultural mediation, project work and consulting in companies as well as in educational or tourism institutions, foundations and associations.

Domitila initiates her first global beauty campaign and became a global ambassador for a German cosmetics ingredients company, Her impactful work led to multiple sustainability awards within three years. Her efforts contributed to recognition as a leading sustainable company and a stock exchange hype.

Domitla was nominated as a Young Global Leader for the World Economic Forum in 2022 wich could solidified her position, promoting more ethical and sustainable business practices. Her presence at prominent events and her role as a mediator, translating values into content, highlight her commitment to catalyzing significant changes towards a more sustainable future.

In 2022, Domitila was crowned Miss Germany 2022. A contest focused on Women's Empowerment and impactful missions. Her achievement not only reinforced her commitment to values such as environmental protection and women's empowerment but also positioned her as an icon of representativeness, being the first black woman to receive the title in 100 years of the contest's history. In the same year, Domitila received third place in the German Sustainability Award, in the design category, and had her first participation as a jury member of the Faircon Awards from Fairtrade Deutschland and #SupportHer from the German Magazine Cosmopolitan.

Domitila Barros continued to expand her influence and impact as a judge of the BNE Prize (Education for Sustainable Development), reinforcing her commitment to promoting sustainable educational practices and projects. Her participation in high-visibility events such as BBB 23 further expanded her reach, bringing her message of sustainability to a diverse and global audience.

This led Domitila to receive the award for the most influential personality on social media in the category of Sustainable Influencer during the Cannes Film Festival, in France (WIBA Awards).
